GAME RECAP: Whipsnakes defeat the Redwoods in Hamilton

Whipsnakes vs. Redwoods Week 9 Hamilton Recap

After giving up 20 goals in a shocking loss to Chrome in Week 8, Whipsnakes came back with renewed focus and were locked in on clinching a playoff berth. For the Redwoods, the impact of Greg Gurenlian’s return to the faceoff X was muted by the unfortunate injuries of defensive leader Eddy Glazener and offensive stalwart Matt Kavanagh.

Chrome vs. Whipsnakes Week 8 San Jose Recap

Early in the second meeting between the Whipsnakes and the Chrome, you’d be hard pressed to tell which team was tied for first place and which had won only one game entering this weekend.

In a blink of an eye, 1/5th of the inaugural PLL regular season is over. The Chrome Lacrosse Club is 2 plays away from being 2-0. That is the beauty of sports. We as athletes, recognize that every single play in the game matter. Are there plays that seem more important because there is a minute left in the game?

Coaches Corner: Nat St. Laurent

For us the season has clearly seen its ups and downs and our journey to the playoffs has been one that I will not forget. That is a tribute to our assistant coaches, players, and medical staff.
GAME RECAP: Archers defeat Chrome in Denver

Archers LC vs. Chrome LC Week 7 Denver Recap

Sunday’s Archers vs. Chrome matchup was a game between two teams fighting for their postseason lives – neither team could afford another loss. Heading into Sunday, Chrome somehow had a positive goal differential despite being 1-5.

Four games to go in the inaugural PLL season and the Archers LC have played in six one-goal games. It’s easy to say that every weekend has been an absolute grind in search of getting in the W column. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Coaches Corner: Nat St. Laurent

It is hard to believe that we are heading into the All Star break already. Last December I remember sitting in a conference room in New York City with the other newly appointed head coaches for the PLL.
