US Lacrosse Named an Official Partner of the PLL Championship Series

The Premier Lacrosse League and US Lacrosse will form a partnership through the PLL Championship Series, set to take place from July 25th - August 9th. The partnership will focus on supporting US Lacrosse as an organization, and its mission to provide leadership, growth, and programs that fuel the sport and enrich the experience in lacrosse for all participants.

The announcement comes as an extension of a standing partnership - with initiatives across youth lacrosse, diversity and inclusion, U.S. Men’s National Teams, and general alignment on leadership to help drive the sport forward.

Core to the partnership will be fundraising support for the sport’s National Governing Body. This will include linear broadcast “text-to-donate” integrations on NBCSN as well as promotion of a general giving page to support the non-profit.

“Like many families, companies, and organizations, US Lacrosse has not been immune to the impacts of COVID-19. We are grateful for the continued financial support of members and donors across our community. Our partnership with the PLL will provide meaningful amplification of our nonprofit’s mission and signal alignment at the highest level of the sport,” says US Lacrosse CEO, Steve Stenersen.

The PLL Championship Series will be played in Utah under a quarantine format to optimize player safety. The event comes after a mid-season cancellation of collegiate lacrosse and youth programs around the country.
