Location: Los Angeles Office – PLL HQ

Position Overview:
Coordinating Producer for the Premier Lacrosse League will be responsible for overseeing the production of all social, broadcast, branded, and internal content as well as act as the liaison between the PLL’s broadcast partner and packager. The Coordinating Producer is not only expected to oversee all production but should be willing and able to produce and edit all forms of PLL video and audio content for distribution on social, linear channels, and for all other PLL internal and external needs. The Coordinating Producer is the PLL’s most senior employee on the production team; their impact on the PLL’s growth, strategy, and overall media execution is profound.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee creation of all video and photo content for: PLL-owned and operated channels, PLL sponsors, PLL broadcasts.
  • Produce all non-live content airing on PLL Broadcasts.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of all internal PLL department needs.
  • Liaison between media and PLL to provide any photo or video needs.
  • Oversee all PLL photo and video shoots.
  • Oversee PLL Producer/Editors as well as photographers and provide guidance for all production needs.
  • Have the ability to produce and/or edit highlight videos, features, podcasts, or any other requests delivered to the PLL Production team.
  • Act as the liaison between the PLL’s broadcast partner and packager.
  • Work with the PLL’s broadcast packager to create proper streams for PLL needs.
  • Responsible for the collection of all broadcast and melt files for each PLL game.
  • Manage external partnerships with production providers.
  • Oversee all photo and video freelancers in season and during the off-season.
  • Work with the Live Event and Broadcast Production teams to produce and provide all photo and video assets prior to and during the season.
  • Act as a stagehand during PLL Games, bringing players onto the field for each game as well as producing all post-game interviews for both internal and PLL Broadcast needs.
  • Manage budgets of freelancers and equipment.
  • Responsible for the internal management of all PLL content 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of production experience
  • 2+ years working with a broadcast network
  • Experience shooting, producing, and editing all forms of video content
  • Experience producing podcasts or audio content
  • Experience working with on-air talent
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite
  • Experience working with broadcast partners and packagers a plus
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and team-based skills
  • A hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Highly-motivated and eager to make an impact on the organization
  • Sports or events production background is a plus
