The Premier Lacrosse League is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to lead new product initiatives. We’re looking to grow our engineering team to help build out our innovative products & infrastructure. Be an early engineer in building products that drive the future of professional sports.

You Are:

  • A full-stack generalist
  • Excited to move fast and know how to prioritize and make critical decisions.
  • Comfortable with and curious about working outside of a traditional narrow engineering role
  • A self-starter: you have started something on your own before – a startup, an open-source project, something else


  • Ship every day.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code review, and continual learning
  • Working with the team to refine and improve specification and user stories
  • Debug problems, write documentation, and unit tests where required
  • Be mentored and mentor others as we work to uplevel our development process


  • A degree related to and/or experience developing software
  • 3+ years experience building web apps using Javascript frameworks like ReactJS & NodeJS
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with remote and local teams
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities

Recommended Experience

  • Experience working in web-based environments creating RESTful APIs
  • Experience with serverless infrastructure like AWS Lambda

Technology Ecosystem

  • Languages: Javascript (ES6+), Python
  • Frameworks: ReactJS (frontend) | NodeJS / ExpressJS (backend)
  • Data: Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, Salesforce, Redis

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) brought the sport of lacrosse to a national stage for the first time through a tour-based model, complete with the best players the game has to offer. Co-founded by lacrosse superstar, philanthropist, and investor Paul Rabil and his brother, serial entrepreneur and investor, Mike Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League is backed by an investment group comprised of The Raine Group, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Chernin Group, and Blum Capital. The league was announced in October 2018, with an exclusive media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The PLL’s second season will begin in May 2020, with seven teams, embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game.
