Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking an Operations and Experience manager for the Lacrosse Product team. This role will take the lead on providing a professional, top-notch experience for our athletes. Along with the operations team, they will oversee all player and lacrosse related logistics to include, but not limited to: travel, food, hydration, transportation, hotels, and practices. They will supervise the 8 Club Liaisons and serve as a resource for the players and coaching staff.

Key Objectives:
  • Attend game weekend events to help manage player appearances, player media requests, oversight of meal and hydration for players, travel, transportation, equipment, practice fields, and any other player related logistics and experience items.
  • Work with the operations team on weekend schedules, travel arrangements, on-site details and problem solving.
  • Communicate with players, coaches, and club managers around key operational and experience details.
  • Help the Club Managers organize and enforce the travel booking process
  • Manage approvals on air and rail travel for players
  • Secure and manage practice fields for all teams on event weekends
  • Oversee and manage Club Managers to ensure a consistent and high level player experience
  • Oversee equipment ordering and fulfillment process for all staff and players.
  • Off-season responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring and training Club Managers, amenities for athletes, off-season events that involve PLL players, evaluation of and improvement in all facets of player experience, etc.
  • Organize and manage the PLL Alumni Network
  • Operate in a manner that is both efficient and cost-effective.
  • Support player relations team with athlete communications
  • Assist the lacrosse product team with any other duties as assigned.
Measurable Outcomes:
  • Adherence to and execution of PLL minimum standards
  • Player satisfaction survey results
  • Lacrosse product remains within allocated budget
