Position and Responsibilities Overview:
The PLL is seeking talented rising professionals for local market internships for the summer of 2021. Local market interns will operate in a hybrid role as local market ambassadors for the PLL, while supporting general operations of the league, attending weekly team calls, and getting a remote learning opportunity to develop skills and meaningful experience. This is an independent contractor role estimated at 20 hours per week that will require a self-starter mentality and a strong desire to make an impact for the league’s third season. Local market interns will meaningfully contribute to the success of the league through the channels of local marketing, ticket sales, tune-in, relationship management, and project support.  
  • Must be located near or in a PLL 2021 market
  • Must be a self-starter with a high-motor and ability to learn quickly + self-teach
  • Energized around bringing new fans to the PLL and supporting direct ticket sales through personal network and local community organizations/groups
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and team-based skills
  • Organized, with the ability to simultaneously manage 100+ conversations effectively
  • Hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Highly motivated and eager to make an impact on the organization
  • Access to and knowledge of standard office software
  • Lacrosse background is a plus
