Position and Responsibilities Overview:
The PLL is seeking an ambitious, budding marketing professional to support the growth and execution of the PLL’s marketing strategy. Marketing Associate will behave as the “arms and legs” of the PLL’s marketing team – executing across a wide range of channels and tasks. A primary focus of the role will be managing and placing PLL’s digital marketing budget for ticket sales, tune-in, merchandise, PLL Academy, and other PLL commercial verticals. Ideal candidates will have some experience placing spend on Facebook and Instagram, with an additional preference for AdWords / Google. The associate will also be asked to spearhead general marketing initiatives, such as paid digital (web), editorial, local marketing (in-stadium, out-of-home, direct mail, ambassador). Ideal candidates will be highly-coachable, motivated, organized, and hardworking.  
  • 1+ years of marketing experience
  • Must be a self-starter with a high-motor and ability to learn quickly + self-teach
  • Familiarity with digital marketing mediums with an emphasis on paid digital marketing
  • Proficient with placing spend on Facebook / Instagram
  • A data-driven individual who can analyze information to identify new opportunities
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and team-based skills
  • Hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills are a plus
  • Highly-motivated and eager to make an impact on the organization
