Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking a talented part-time merchandise designer to help craft a world-class assortment for the most passionate lacrosse fans in the world. The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, build, and influence the creative direction of the PLL brand.  
  • Partner with Director of Merchandise to ideate design concepts across full product assortment
  • Assist with all apparel design needs, including executing on concepts and ideas
  • Maintain merch design library, including, but not limited to, artwork, tech packs, and line sheets
  • Create tech packs/spec sheets for in-house apparel
  • Collaborate with vendors and brand partners on design updates and needs, when necessary
  • Liaise with the greater design team to ensure alignment with greater PLL design ecosystem
  • Aid in sample evaluation and ensuring adherence to specifications
  • 2-3 years of Merch designing experience
  • Prior apparel-specific design and technical experience
  • Must have a portfolio of design work
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and execute against deadlines
  • Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom; additional Adobe Suite experience is a plus
  • Prior experience working with a D2C brand
  • Knowledge of fabrics and construction techniques
  • Access to and knowledge of standard office software
  • Lacrosse background is a plus
