Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking a Merchandise Marketing Manager to support the end-to-end planning and execution of all merchandise promotional campaigns. The Merchandise Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally across teams managing merchandise campaigns across all channels. This role will report directly to the VP of Merchandise and not only manage campaigns from start to finish, but also act as the driving force pushing merchandise to consumers on various platforms. The ideal candidate is familiar with the interplay between omnichannel marketing in the retail space and is a driven and motivated individual that can push campaigns forward throughout the year.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of fashion or merchandise marketing experience across digital channels
  • Specific experience driving campaigns on web, social, email, text, and within an app
  • Experience using data-driven approaches to marketing
  • Prior experience and proven success managing impactful projects and campaigns end-to-end
  • Demonstrates “A” level organization and exceptional attention to detail
  • Background working in Google Suite – with specific understanding of Google Calendars, Google Docs, and Gmail
  • Highly proficient with Excel and experience working with large data sets
  • Leadership experience with the ability to lead organized and effective meetings
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and delegating tasks and assignments
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional time management skills

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Promotional Campaign Calendar & work with VP of Merchandise and Ecommerce Manager to set financial targets by campaign.
  • Manage end to end processes and timelines related to creative direction, planning and rollout of new and existing merchandise campaigns
  • Manage and collaborate on merchandise campaign integration strategy across paid, social, web, app, and email
  • Develop Creative Briefs for all merchandise product launches and campaigns to serve as baseline framework, including timelines, campaign milestones, and content/asset needs
  • Align different business units on the execution of campaigns
  • Work cross functionally on strategy for campaigns with the SVP of Marketing, specifically for paid and overarching marketing strategy.
  • Drive A/B tests across merchandise marketing toolset to optimize strategy
  • Analyze channel performance data to support the VP of Merchandise in identifying appropriate marketing strategies to target customers across owned and operated platforms
  • Oversee merchandise marketing meetings and follow-ups to cross-functional teams
  • Organize and attend merchandise content and photo shoots, as needed, as part of driving the creative asset process for merchandise.
  • Assist any in-store activation plans for any retail partnerships.
  • Assist with any on-site activation plans working directly with the On-site Merchandise Manager to bring these to life.
  • This role requires travel around 15% of the time
