Position Overview:
The PLL is looking for an operational mastermind to own, build, and iterate on all of PLL’s event merchandise operations. The ideal candidate exhibits a high level of ownership and will have prior experience working within the event merchandise space, is highly analytical and organized, and is driven by the opportunity to build, daily puzzle-solving, and finding opportunities for continuous improvement. This role will require travel for up to 60% of the time, including 14 weekends in-season (June to September), Championship Series in February, and weekend travel to lacrosse tournaments in the offseason.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience working within onsite merchandise operations
  • Prior experience managing an onsite merchandise sales team
  • Experience managing inventory processes and working with warehouse partners
  • Highly analytical, organized, and able to prioritize and execute against deadlines
  • High proficiency with Excel and Google Suite
  • Experience working in Shopify backend and other ecommerce platforms
Responsibilities:
  • Own, execute against and iterate on onsite merchandise experience and processes at tournaments and growing roster of PLL events, optimizing for scale
  • Optimize onsite assortment with the goal of maximizing revenue
  • Manage vendor and onsite merchandise team and ensure detail-oriented execution to vision to maximize sales
  • Own customer touchpoints and liaise with external partners to deliver a world-class onsite experience
  • Maintain onsite merchandise metrics reporting dashboards and share insights with internal team
  • Identify and conduct analysis around new areas of opportunity
  • Work with marketing partners on onsite merchandise initiatives, from ideation to execution
  • Diligently manage end-to-end inventory processes to minimize onsite shrinkage and maximize integrity
  • Place onsite inventory replenishment orders and manage shipments to and from warehouse
  • Create and manage onsite SOPs
  • Manage onsite costs and make sure we’re tracking to budget
Extra Credit:
  • Experience working in sports
  • Experience building out shoppable physical infrastructures
