Position Overview: The PLL Academy Ops Manager will report directly to the Head of the PLL Academy, and this position can be based in either NY or LA. They will be responsible for overseeing a small team focusing on operations and event operations within the youth lacrosse space, as well as partnering and collaborating with members across the league front office. The PLL Academy’s current offering includes: single and two day events, sleepaway camps, experiential overnight events, gameday weekend clinics, tournaments, and more. Duties and responsibilities.
  • Oversee the numerous logistics involved in the PLL Academy’s daily operations and the events run year round.
  • Create and maintain balance sheets for monthly reporting with our leadership & finance team.
  • Manage athlete travel and scheduling for Academy events that are hosted throughout the country.
  • Work on internal programs, along with other initiatives in the youth lacrosse space that will help the league grow the sport
  • Build and maintain detailed itineraries for each event, including overnights, tournaments, day camps, trainings, etc.
  • Establish checklists and detailed timelines to ensure all equipment, accommodations, and services are top tier for PLL Academy overnight events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facilities in key markets to ensure favorable PLL Academy treatment both now and in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational or administrative role with at least one year of management experience.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Self starter and ability to self-manage daily responsibilities.
  • General understanding of CRM tools, such as Leagueapps and Hubspot, and proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Encompasses an analytical mindset and leverage data across all interactions
  • Supports the business in cross-functional products to drive organizational advancement
  • Strong understanding of youth lacrosse market

  • $50,000 to $60,000
  • The total compensation package includes Annual Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Mental Health Stipend, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
