The PLL is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to bring PLL’s brand to life through visual storytelling. You will work closely with the Business Development, Ticketing, and PLL’s Content team to lead on the ideation and creation of impactful collateral, compelling branded material, digital and web creative, as well as social media content.  A major element of this role will revolve around leading pitch deck creation for prospective league partners.  As part of the growing PLL Design team, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead on conception and creation of highly engaging and informative assets in and out of season while ensuring project objectives are achieved for all executions.
 
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage design projects across business units, from conception to final delivery
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to conceptualize, strategize and implement design deliverables for original campaigns
  • Lead pitch deck creation from inception to delivery for new and existing partners while working in tandem with the business development team
  • Develop marketing assets for tune-tune, ticketing efforts, etc. for league partners such as Ticketmaster as well as league events such as PLL Academy
  • Ensure consistency and continuity with brand identity across all assets and deliverables
  • Manage and ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic content
  • Mentor junior designers and freelancers in the development of the technical and soft skills relevant to their growth as professional designers
  • Leverage fan insights to design creative that excites and engages in efforts to strengthen the brand and storylines
  • Produce high quality creative assets across a variety of mediums including: Social + Print, Broadcast, Web, Programmatic, etc.
  • Present high value campaigns to leadership for feedback and approval
  • Produce compelling partnership creative and deliverables while adhering to both internal and external brand standards
  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative ideas for long-form, short-form, and and one-off visual initiatives
  • Oversee digital asset management systems
Qualifications 
  • 8+ years of experience working professionally within an advertising/marketing, branding, or sports environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom
  • Web Design: UX/UI experience
  • Strong design skills, understanding of design principals and the ability to provide creative visual direction and solutions
  • Ability to analyze and present design solutions in a clear and creative manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving ability
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Knowledge of Lacrosse is a plus
