Job Type: Spring Internship
Start Date: February – May 2021 (flexible)
Position Overview:
    • The PLL is seeking candidates to support the Premier Lacrosse League’s world-class content team. The role will work across a variety of tasks including content ideation, creation, caption writing, publishing, and community management. Hires will be full contributors and exist as members of PLL’s media team. Candidates must have an elevated understanding of social media trends, channels, and content formats. Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter are all required; channel-specific strengths will be viewed favorably.
  • Contribute ideas to the PLL content team
  • Support iteration on creative assets and concepts
  • Suggest copy for posts
  • Post content across PLL or TLN platforms
  • Stay in-tune with lacrosse social media and broader social media trends; live in the conversation
  • Experience and understanding of social media and social content; actively-managed personal channels will be viewed favorably
  • Knowledge of Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok (other platforms a plus)
  • Highly-coachable with the ability to learn quickly
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and team-based skills
  • Hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Lacrosse background or understanding of lacrosse media is a strong plus
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills are a plus
  • Existing or budding creative skill-set a plus

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) brought the sport of lacrosse to a national stage for the first time through a tour-based model, composed of 7 teams rostered with the best players the game has to offer.  Recently awarded SBJ’s Breakthrough Sport of the Year in 2020. The league was Co-founded by lacrosse superstar, philanthropist, and investor Paul Rabil and his brother, serial entrepreneur and investor, Mike Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League is backed by an investment group comprised of The Raine Group, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Chernin Group, and Blum Capital. The league was announced in October 2018, with an exclusive media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The PLL’s second season will begin in May 2020, with seven teams, embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game.
