The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster is a men’s professional lacrosse league in North America, composed of 8 teams rostered by the best players in the world. Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking candidates to support the Premier Lacrosse League’s world-class content team. The role will work across a variety of tasks including content ideation, creation, caption writing, publishing, and community management. Hires will be full contributors and exist as members of PLL’s media team. Candidates must have an elevated understanding of social media trends, channels, and content formats. Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter are all required; channel-specific strengths will be viewed favorably.

Qualifications:
  • Experience and understanding of social media and social content; actively-managed personal channels will be viewed favorably
  • Knowledge of Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok (other platforms a plus)
  • Highly coachable with the ability to learn quickly
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and team-based skills
  • Hard worker who is a “doer” first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
  • Lacrosse background or understanding of lacrosse media is a strong plus
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills are a plus
  • Existing or budding creative skill-set a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support PLL’s social media content throughout the 2024 Season
  • Travel to various locations may be required on an as-needed basis
  • Contribute ideas to the PLL content team
  • Support iteration on creative assets and concepts
  • Suggest copy for posts
  • Provide real-time social coverage on game days
  • Post content across PLL League or PLL Team platforms
  • Stay in tune with lacrosse social media and broader social media trends; live in the conversation
  • Owning our Tagboard integration for the social and broadcast team every weekend of the season
Compensation:
  • $15.00 – $17.00 an hour
  • Based on location and experience
