Role: Social Video Producer/ Editor
Location: Los Angeles Office – PLL HQ
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: February 15, 2021
 
Position Overview:
    • The Premier Lacrosse League is looking to hire a Social Video Producer/Editor who will work with the PLL production team creating content for all PLL team and league social channels, PLL broadcasts, as well as fulfill any internal needs.
Responsibilities:
      • Edit short and long-form PLL content.
      • Will act as the day to day point of contact for social team video needs.
      • Work with internal departments to fulfill all video requests.
      • Create and deliver content to PLL and external partners.
      • Fulfill all media requests for PLL Content.
      • Live cut all PLL games sending content to the social media coordinators and creating game highlight recaps.
      • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1-3 years of experience working in social video production and editing
    • Must have experience using the adobe suite /li>
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to work on multiple projects at once
    • Ability to shoot not required but a plus
    • Comfortable interacting with external parties/partners on a day-to-day basis
    • This position will not travel to all PLL games

ABOUT THE PLL

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) brought the sport of lacrosse to a national stage for the first time through a tour-based model, composed of 7 teams rostered with the best players the game has to offer.  Recently awarded SBJ’s Breakthrough Sport of the Year in 2020. The league was Co-founded by lacrosse superstar, philanthropist, and investor Paul Rabil and his brother, serial entrepreneur and investor, Mike Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League is backed by an investment group comprised of The Raine Group, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Chernin Group, and Blum Capital. The league was announced in October 2018, with an exclusive media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The PLL’s second season will begin in May 2020, with seven teams, embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game.
