The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster is a men’s professional lacrosse league in North America, composed of 8 teams rostered by the best players in the world. Position Overview
The PLL Software Engineer will report directly to the Head of Product, and this position can be based in either LA or remote. They will be responsible for overseeing the Premier Lacrosse League’s modern frontend tech stack and working closely with our backend and frontend engineers to deploy state-of-the-art products for the lacrosse world. The PLL’s current in-house products include the PLL website & Stats, Fantasy, a web3 membership platform, and free-to-play products.

Responsibilities:
General: Build and deploy scalable frontends in ReactJS
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, database architecture
  • Working with the team to refine and improve specifications and user stories
  • Debug problems, write documentation, and unit tests
  • Solid understanding of MVC, and strong OO skills with demonstrated experience in working with complex APIs
  • Aiding in decisions on tech stack & architecture (cost, optimization, packages, etc)
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience developing consumer-facing single-page applications (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • A strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience as a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users
  • Experience with frontend UI frameworks like Material-UI and styled-components
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with Postgres & NoSQL databases
  • Experience building products on AWS and Google Cloud Services
  • Experience with Liquid template language is a plus
  • Experience building highly performant NodeJS backends is a plus
  • Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Startup experience is a plus

Compensation:
  • Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
  • $95,000 to $105,000 annually
  • The total compensation package includes Annual Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Mental Health Stipend, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
