Role: Software Engineer, Full Stack
Location: Los Angeles Office – PLL HQ (or remote)
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
Position Overview:
    • PLL is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to lead in building the PLL’s web and general tech platform. The role will report directly into the PLL’s Head of Product.
      • 3+ years of experience developing consumer-facing single-page applications (React, Angular, etc.)
      • A strong technical background, including 5+ years of experience as a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users
      • Experience building highly performant NodeJS backends
      • Experience with Postgres as well as NoSQL databases
      • Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes
      • Experience building products on AWS and Google Cloud Services
      • Experience with React Native is a plus
      • Startup experience is a plus
      • Other duties as assigned
Projects you will work on
    • Building the first ever advance stats platform for the sport of lacrosse
    • Main Premier Lacrosse League websites, and more innovative products as the league continues to evolve how sports leagues and media companies interact with consumers

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) brought the sport of lacrosse to a national stage for the first time through a tour-based model, composed of 7 teams rostered with the best players the game has to offer.  Recently awarded SBJ’s Breakthrough Sport of the Year in 2020. The league was Co-founded by lacrosse superstar, philanthropist, and investor Paul Rabil and his brother, serial entrepreneur and investor, Mike Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League is backed by an investment group comprised of The Raine Group, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Chernin Group, and Blum Capital. The league was announced in October 2018, with an exclusive media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The PLL’s second season will begin in May 2020, with seven teams, embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game.
