Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking an experienced production professional to lead branded content efforts for the Premier Lacrosse League, its internal agency – Time & Room, and the PLL’s roster of sponsors. Applicants must be creators first and foremost, with a strong degree of aptitude in production, editing, and delivery of well-crafted branded content pieces. Ideal candidates will have deep branded content experience and possess the ability to interface with brands and clients with a service-based mindset, exceptional professionalism, and an organized approach to execution on projects. Candidates will be asked to get their hands dirty as creators, with the requirement to script, shoot and edit on most projects. In addition to creating, candidates will also be asked to manage budgets against multiple projects, hire and delegate to freelancers, and manage all stages of the production process.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years minimum experience in production
  • 3+ years branded content experience; some agency experience preferred
  • Highly-proficient in editing; deep proficiency with Adobe Premiere
  • Sports background preferred with preference for a minimum basic understanding of lacrosse
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to support and deliver content pitches to brands
  • Possesses a strong understanding of social content with the ability to create content optimized for core social platforms
  • Ability to work seamlessly across content, production, and partnerships team to balance core goals and outcomes of each business unit
  • Ability to create, produce, and deliver scripts, storyboards, pitch materials, and other brand-facing collateral
  • Background in sourcing and managing freelancers to support project execution
