The PLL is looking to bring on part-time interns to assist the company across various business units in the preparation and execution of the 2021 season. The internship is designed to assist the business during the league’s busiest time of year and expose candidates to the details and operations needed to execute world-class events.

PLL Academy 
The PLL Academy is looking for an operations intern this summer to help support PLL Academy’s events. This role will work with the operations team on all stages of event planning; to include sales, marketing, operations, and logistics.  The intern will also work with our youth partners on relationship management and event execution. Some travel to events may be required and experience with event planning is preferred.
 
Location: Remote with expected travel to Academy events.
Length: June 1-Aug 31st.

Content: 
PLL’s content intern will support across a broad scale of functions falling under the PLL’s content team. We view this hire as a direct extension of our social media team and will seek experienced and talented young social creators. Interns will be asked to develop and publish content, source creative concepts, build assets, and add volume and quality to PLL’s ongoing social media efforts. Responsibilities will range across platforms and formats, but will likely focus on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Interns will also be asked to support DM responses, customer service, and overall community management across platforms.

Media Production:
PLL’s production team is seeking a summer production assistant to support all production needs. Ideally, candidates will have existing hard skills, including the ability to cut and edit film. Additional creative background, such as shooting capabilities, will be favorable for potential candidates. The production assistant will support social media edits and day-to-day cutting. She or he will also be asked to complete “grunt” tasks like organizing raw assets or captioning interviews. This candidate will need to work out of Los Angeles HQ as access to localized servers will be necessary to complete ongoing tasks.

Ticketing:
PLL’s ticketing team is seeking a summer intern to support ticket sales, operations, and other tasks core to the PLL’s seasonal ticketing effort. As a summer ticketing intern, this individual will be supporting the PLL during its busiest time – with live ticket sales and operational needs at a premium. Tasks will include prospecting for qualified ticket buyers, supporting direct customer service, and helping ticket sales reps with ongoing needs. The roles and responsibilities of the ticketing intern will be dynamic – with shifting needs of the team informing daily tasks. Certain tasks, such as prospecting, will be ongoing and continuous. This person must be ready to roll her or his sleeves up.

Business Development
The Business Development intern will assist the partnerships team throughout the summer when it comes to partnership sales, partnership management, and partnership activation. This role will work across a variety of tasks including sales outreach/organization, partner tracking/fulfillment, and overall support of the partnerships team during the 2021 PLL season. Candidates must have a foundational understanding of the sponsorship space and be dedicated to learning and contributing throughout the summer.

Product Management
The Premier Lacrosse League is looking for a technology product management intern to help build products that delight our fans and customers. This role is for outcome-oriented individuals that are passionate about solving problems in the sports industry. This internship offers experience with the full product lifecycle: Identifying needs, user interviews, writing user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional Engineering, Design, and Data teams.
