The PLL is looking to bring on part-time paid interns to assist the company across various business units in preparation and execution of the 2020 season. The internship is designed to assist the business during the league’s busiest time of year and expose candidates to the details and operations needed to execute world-class events.

Operations

Operations Intern will assist in multiple areas of our event planning and production.  This position will get high exposure to the fast-paced nature of a startup, and the internal operations of running a sports league.

Production

Video Production Intern will log footage, edit PLL videos for social and internal needs, and help on shoots.

Marketing and PR

1) Social Media Intern will assist on the editing, capture, and organization of our video assets for the social team. This position will get high exposure to the fast-paced nature of a startup, and the internal operations of running a media team.
2) Asset Management Intern will manage and organize our media assets. This role will tag and label incoming assets, work directly across the company to service organizational needs and support the broader media team on fulfilling sponsor obligations. This position will get high exposure to the fast-paced nature of a startup, and the internal operations of running a media team.

Ticketing & Sales

Summer Ticketing Intern will assist in the PLL’s ticket sales and operations efforts for the 2020 season. The role will work across the ticketing team to deliver a seamless customer ticketing experience, and to ensure volume and revenue targets are met. As a role within a startup, daily tasks will be highly-dynamic ranging from multi-week project work to clerical data entry. All hires will receive meaningful exposure to a fast-paced startup and will need to embrace the discomfort of learning while doing at a rapid cadence.

Business Development

Our Sponsorships team is seeking to hire a Sponsorships Intern to help within our day to day operations, activation, and overall execution of our most important partnerships. This role will have duties that are both on-site as well as in-office throughout the year.

ABOUT THE PLL

 

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) brought the sport of lacrosse to a national stage for the first time through a tour-based model, complete with the best players the game has to offer. Co-founded by lacrosse superstar, philanthropist, and investor Paul Rabil and his brother, serial entrepreneur and investor, Mike Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League is backed by an investment group comprised of The Raine Group, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), The Chernin Group, and Blum Capital. The league was announced in October 2018, with an exclusive media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group. The PLL’s second season will begin in May 2020, with seven teams, embarking on a 14-week season that concludes with a playoff and PLL championship game.
