Charlotte North, Izzy Scane headline 2025 WLL All-Stars: Full rosters, breakdowns

By Lauren Merola | May 21, 2025

The 2025 Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League All-Stars were announced Tuesday, and four of the first five picks hail from Boston College. For Team North — captained by legendary Eagles aluma Charlotte North — six of the team’s first seven picks graduated from the Chestnut Hill program.

Boston Guard coach Laurie DeLuca and National Lacrosse Hall of Famer Jen Adams are coaching Team North and Team Izzy, respectively. North and Izzy Scane will each serve as the captain of their eponymous teams. The two sat next to their respective coaches, who had full autonomy over roster selections, during the All-Star Game selection show on Tuesday night.

“It’s good to have the coaches making the decisions and to get an outside perspective,” Scane said. “I think [Adams has] done an incredible job picking different types of players … and ones I personally don’t like to match up against.”

The 2025 WLL All-Star Game will be played in the 10-vs.-10 format. It kicks off July 4 at 8 p.m. ET at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. It will air on ESPN2.

Below are the final rosters.

Team North

A Charlotte North (Boston Guard)
A Kenzie Kent (Boston College)
A Rachel Clark (Boston College)
A Jackie Wolak (Boston Guard)
M Cassidy Weeks (Boston Guard)
M Dempsey Arsenault (Boston Guard)
M Anna Brandt (Penn)
M Katie O’Donnell (Penn State)
M Kasey Choma (Boston Guard)
M Emily Hawryschuk (New York Charging)
M Amy Moreau (UMass)
D Sydney Scales (Boston College)
D Abby Bosco (Maryland Charm)
D Maddie Burns (Michigan)
D Jane Hansen (Northwestern)
D Lizzie Colson (Maryland Charm)
G Taylor Moreno (California Palms)
G Erin O’Grady (Michigan)

Each team was required to take at least two current college players, and Clark was the first one selected. The Boston College attacker won the 2024 national championship and is playing in the 2025 semifinals against Northwestern on Friday. As of Tuesday, Clark started in all 21 games this season for the Eagles, producing a staggering 103 goals and 45 assists.

Despite the heavy Boston College presence, each of the four WLL teams was well represented on the rosters, as the coaches were not allowed to pick more than five players per WLL squad. DeLuca met the Guard allowance.

“We are maxed out, unfortunately, that hurts my heart,” DeLuca said during the later picks while drafting a second goalie.

Guard goalie Glynn will suit up for Team Izzy, while the Guard’s Rachel Hall went undrafted.

North called her team’s goalie pick, the Palms' Moreno, “one of the best goalies in the world.”

“She’s incredibly patient. She reads every shot very well ... I’m just happy to be on the same side as her,” North said.

Team Izzy

A Izzy Scane (New York Charging)
A Sam Apuzzo (Boston College)
A Madison Ahern (Boston Guard)
A Sydni Black (Maryland Charm)
A Erin Coykendall (New York Charging)
A Livy Rosenzweig (Loyola)
M Ally Mastroianni (California Palms)
M Ally Kennedy (Stony Brook)
M Marie McCool (North Carolina)
M Ellie Masera (Stony Brook)
M Sam Smith (Northwestern)
M Fallon Vaughn (Yale)
D Courtney Taylor (Boston Guard)
D Emily Nalls (California Palms)
D Kendall Halpern (New York Charging)
D Kayla Wood (California Palms)
G Kady Glynn (Boston Guard)
G Delaney Sweitzer (Northwestern)

The list pairs Scane with her collegiate sidekick and Charging teammate, Coykendall.

“I was waiting,” Scane said of Coykendall’s selection with the 26th pick. “She’s my girl. I’m excited. I’m glad Jen brought her with me because she’s the best and so hard to guard on the field and such a versatile player so really happy to be on the field with her again.”

Halpern, also Scane and Coykendall’s teammate at Northwestern and on the Charging, was taken with pick No. 20.

“She’s great all over the field. She used to be a midfielder, so great hands, and just a really solid defender that’s going to do well with the girls we have on defense already,” Scane said, shaking her fist in excitement to be reunited.

Adams welcomed a reunion with Black — “the resident ankle-breaker,” Adams called her —  who she coached at Loyola.

Glynn also graduated from Loyola, while five total players on Team Izzy graduated from Northwestern and two from Boston College.
