Brett Dobson signs extension with Utah through 2027

On Tuesday, the Utah Archers announced the extension of All-Pro netminder Brett Dobson through the 2027 season.
The four-year deal comes after Dobson’s excellent play in his first year as the Archers top dog between the pipes. Dobson helped the Archers collect the 2023 Cash App Championship Trophy while earning himself recognition as MVP of the Cash App Championship, a second-team All-Pro, and an All-Star.
Dobson was second among starters in saves with 123, third in save percentage at 58%, and led the league with the best scores-against average at 10.4 per game.
Dobson will continue to backstop a prolific Utah defensive group that features 2021 Dave Pietramala Defensive Player of the Year Graeme Hossack and 2023 George Boiardi Short Stick Defensive Midfielder of the Year Latrell Harris.
The extension of Dobson is the first move of free agency for Utah Archers Head Coach and General Manager Chris Bates.
