Carc’s College Draft Board 2.0

By Paul Carcaterra | Apr 23, 2021

1. Michael Sowers, A, Duke

"With once in a generation type quickness, Sowers breaks defenders' ankles at X with regularity. He is the ultimate quarterback who has a suddenness to his passing which makes sliding to him a costly endeavor. He can take the keys to a PLL offense on Day 1."

2. Jared Bernhardt, A, Maryland

"He's the perfect blend with a bigger body, elite straight line speed, toughness, and the ability to score from behind the cage and above the goal line. He puts defenses in a conundrum, feasting on any type of defender anywhere in an offensive set."

3. Jeff Teat, A, Cornell

"Jeff Teat might not be top of mind regarding the #1 overall pick, but he should be. He has some of the best lacrosse wrists I have ever seen. His ability to feed when pressure is applied and deceive goalies in tight without wasted movement is nuts!"

4. TD Ierlan, FO, Denver

Ierlan holds the NCAA record for faceoff percentage over a career at 75.3%.

5. JT Giles-Harris, D, Duke

JT Giles-Harris -- whose brother, Joe, is an NFL linebacker -- is the frontrunner for the Schmeisser Award, honoring the nation's best defender.

6. Jake Carraway, A, Georgetown

Carraway is a sharpshooter, stinging a career-high 35.8% of his shots this spring for the Hoyas.

7. Mac O'Keefe, A, Penn State

The lefty sniper has 214 career goals, recently passing Justin Guterding's NCAA record (212).

8. Ryan Tierney, A, Hofstra

Tierney is averaging 3.8 goals and 1.6 assists per game. He can dodge and shoot at a pro level.

9. Jared Conners, LSM, Virginia

At 6-foot-5, Conners draws comparisons to Whipsnakes LC's Michael Ehrhardt. He's a big, physical LSM who can stay and play on offense.

10. Connor Kirst, M, Rutgers
