Carc’s College Draft Board: Two-Way Midfielders
By Paul Carcaterra | Mar 15, 2021
1. Ryan Terefenko, SSDM, Ohio State University
A two-time team captain, Terefenko is a tough, two-way, throwback midfielder.
2. Jeff Trainor, M, UMass
The Billerica, Mass. product has 76 goals and 55 assists in his career at UMass. He's built for the pro game.
3. Peter Dearth, SSDM, Syracuse
Dearth is the first three-time captain in Syracuse history. He'll do whatever it takes to help his team win, transitioning from offensive midfield to SSDM midway through his sophomore season.
4. Danny Logan, SSDM, Denver
Logan has 31 CT in his last 28 games. He's a takeaway machine with a short-stick who can jar the ball free without compromising his footwork.
5. Matt Higgins, SSDM, Loyola
Loyola's rope unit plays at a pro pace. Higgins is the latest in a long line of talented Greyhound SSDMs.
