Pat Kavanagh is the Champion Player of the Week following his eight-point, five-goal, three-assist, four-ground ball performance against the California Redwoods on Friday. It was the most productive game of Kavanagh’s young career as he set highs in points, goals and assists in the Denver Outlaws’ 18-12 victory over the Woods.

“A great trait about him is he brings the energy when it’s needed, and he picks his teammates up,” Brennan O’Neill said about Kavanagh after the win. “At times, when the game’s not going your way, he’s always bringing the energy and answering. It’s really cool to be on that side of things.”

Kavanagh now sits third in the league in points (19), tied for second in goals (12), tied for sixth in assists (7) and tied for 12th in caused turnovers (5). He already has more points, goals, assists, ground balls and caused turnovers in 2025 than he did in his rookie season with the Boston Cannons last year.

The Outlaws offense of stars has meshed in recent weeks as Denver has won three consecutive games and stands first in the Western Conference.

“I think the sky is the limit with our offense,” Kavanagh said following Friday’s win. “We have too much talent on this team. We’re going to keep getting better. It’s been awesome playing with these guys.”

Following All-Star weekend, Kavanagh and the Outlaws will be back in action against the Maryland Whipsnakes on Saturday, July 12th at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
