Charlotte North met net with a vengeance on Friday night, shooting a scorching 95-mile-per-hour flamer to send herself to the Fastest Shot challenge final at halftime of the 2025 Lexus PLL All-Star Game on Saturday.

North’s 95-mph ball was the fastest shot on the women’s side since women joined the challenge last year.

North was one of four Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League players to participate in the Fastest Shot challenge. North and Emily Hawryschuk represented Team North and Erin Coykendall and Ally Kennedy represented Team Izzy in the challenge. North and Hawryschuk reached speeds of 95 and 89 mph, respectively, to advance to the final.

There, North tested the net with a shot of 91 mph, which had her walking away from the net while shaking her head before letting out a quiet, “Boo.”

“We had a really competitive game last night,” North said of the Maybelline WLL All-Star Game, which saw Team North charge to a first-quarter lead before Izzy Scane‘s nine points helped Team Izzy take and control momentum for the 24-20 victory at CPKC Stadium. The fatigue from the game Friday could’ve impacted North’s speed Saturday.

In last year’s Unleashed Fastest Shot challenge, North defeated Hawryschuk in the final with a shot speed of 91 mph. North also threw an unofficial 93-mph flame that bounced off the pipe. Hawryschuk put up three shots of 81, 79 and 79 mph. North’s other shots hit 88 and 90 mph.
