LOS ANGELES, CA. (May 13, 2021) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced its Healthcare Heroes initiative today.

Throughout its 11-week tour, PLL will give 1,000 tickets to healthcare workers to thank and honor them for their work and sacrifice through the pandemic.

“We are extremely grateful for the healthcare workers who have served on the front lines during the pandemic,” said Director of Players & Inclusion Kyle Harrison. “They and their families have sacrificed for the safety of our communities. We are excited to see them and celebrate them throughout the summer tour.”

The PLL will work with its venue partners to maintain compliance with local and state governance regarding health and safety best practices. This will include standardized weekend-to-weekend health and safety measures, including but not limited to: seating pods, social distancing, enhanced venue cleaning, mobile ticketing, hand sanitation stations, staff and attendee mask requirements. Similar to the 2020 season, the PLL will be working with a committee of medical professionals to develop health and safety protocols for all players, staff and fans.
