Myles Jones has signed a Championship Series contract with the New York Atlas.
Jones was a dominant presence for New York at the Championship Series in 2025. He was second on the Atlas and ninth in the tournament in scoring points, notching 13 goals in four games, including a five-goal performance in the semifinal against the Boston Cannons. He was named to the Championship Series All-Tournament Team.
He’ll once again provide some real oomph to the New York offense with the ability to own one-on-one matchups as a dodger against overwhelmed short-stick defenders. As the Atlas look to claim their first Champ Series crown and accomplish the double for the first time in league history, Jones is an experienced, valuable addition to their roster for February.
Jones’ previous contract with the Atlas expired after 2025. He’s now signed through the Championship Series but will have the opportunity to hit the open market after the tournament during the second player movement window. For midfield-needy teams such as the California Redwoods and the Maryland Whipsnakes, he could be a hot commodity this spring.
