I was talking to a guy in my league this week, and he said he was looking for a full list—not just one Start and one Sit. Fair. I’ve been handing these picks out like it’s some sacred scroll.
So we’re switching it up. Power rankings style.
Here are the top 3 guys I’m locking into my lineup—and the top 3 I’m staying far away from.
Start ’Em
1. Jake Naso – FO – Utah Archers (9 coins)
Unless I’m obsessed with a matchup, I like saving coins at the faceoff spot. Jake Naso just signed with the Archers, and I love this move from their front office. Utah has struggled at the stripe all season, and now they’re bringing in the all-time faceoff wins leader at Duke. He draws Alec Stathakis this weekend—tough matchup, but Naso’s quicker. At 9 coins, he’s my start of the week.
2. Jake Piseno – D – Denver Outlaws (23 coins)
Jake Piseno is built for fantasy. Defensive players are hard to trust—caused turnovers are unpredictable, and scoring in transition is even harder. But Piseno does both. After a monster All-Star weekend, he’s a plug-and-play for me. He’s aggressive, athletic, and has a green light in transition. At 23 coins, it’s a no-brainer.
3. Jack Hannah – M – Philadelphia Waterdogs (25 coins)
I think he’s a top-3 pure midfielder in the league right now. That right-to-right alley shot is so authentic to Jack Hannah. He’s flicking his wrists mid-sprint, pulling it from his back hip and snapping it into the upper frame of the net like it’s nothing. He’s dynamic, fluid, and plays with elegance.
Sit ’Em
1. Levi Anderson – M – Maryland Whipsnakes (30 coins)
Levi Anderson had a breakout week against a depleted Chaos team and looked great. I love his game. I love his athleticism. But he’s priced at 30 coins, alongside guys like Ryan Drenner and Thomas McConvey, and just behind Matt Traynor. Until I see more data points—more consistent volume—I can’t start him over those proven names.
2. Michael Sowers – A – Philadelphia Waterdogs (50 coins)
Michael Sowers is having an MVP-caliber year. But so is Graeme Hossack. If the season ended today, they’d be my picks for offensive and defensive MVP. Sowers won’t shy away from this matchup—but Hossack’s physical. Sowers is electric in space but doesn’t love contact. I still think he gets his in transition, maybe a couple assists—but at 50 coins, I need more certainty.
3. Mac O’Keefe – A – Utah Archers (15 coins)
Mac O’Keefe is a known stretch shooter who hasn’t found his rhythm yet this season. He’s goal-reliant, and the off-ball touches just haven’t been there. At 15 coins, he’s not a huge risk—but there are more active scorers at that price point and until that stroke returns, I’m staying away.
