Even during All-Star weekend, there’s still PLL fantasy. 

For Saturday's All-Star Game in Louisville, every player is listed at 25 salary coins, which makes the roster construction process a bit more straightforward. Let’s take a look at which players could be steals and which ones you should stay away from.

Jeff Teat, Attack, New York Atlas

This one’s a no-brainer. Teat for 25 salary coins is the biggest steal you’ll see all season long. 

Teat has had the highest salary cap hit all season (50 coins) and still has the league’s highest ROI at 1.59 points per coin. 

All-Star Games are generally high-scoring across all sports, and this weekend won’t be any different. I am excited to see what Teat will do in Louisville.

Brennan O’Neill, Midfield, Denver Outlaws 

O’Neill’s salary cap hit generally sits around 36.25 salary coins. With him currently at 25 coins for the All-Star Game, I think he can be poised for a great showing this weekend. 

With players like Grant Ament and Tom Schreiber on O'Neill's midfield line, he has the chance to make some jaw-dropping plays and show everyone why he was chosen No.1 overall. 

O’Neill can shake off the zero-point performance he had last week and continue to shine as one of the league’s best rookies this weekend.

Blaze Riorden, Goalie, Carolina Chaos 

Since missing Carolina's Homecoming weekend with a lower-body injury, Riorden has put himself back on track as one of the league's best goaltenders.

Riorden has a 59% save percentage through the three games he’s played this season. He’s coming fresh off of a bye week and should be well-rested for the All-Star Game.

Matt Whitcher, SSDM, Philadelphia Waterdogs 

Whitcher ranks fourth among short-stick defensive midfielders in both total fantasy points and average points per game. But this recommendation is more about positional value.

While Whitcher is one of the best defensive midfielders to take if you're looking to use a short stick, the SSDM position has the lowest ROI out of all defensive personnel when it comes to fantasy lacrosse. 

I highly recommend not selecting a short stick this weekend, especially if every player is set at the same salary cap hit. Go with either a close defenseman or long-stick midfielder for your defense slot. 

Jake Piseno, LSM, Denver Outlaws

The main reason Piseno was drafted in the PLL was his ability to shoot with a long pole. In four games, Piseno has yet to score a goal.

While Piseno has 12 ground balls on the year, I am not a fan of his playstyle when it comes to fantasy. 

With defenders like Tyler Carpenter, Garrett Epple and Matt Dunn available for the same price as Piseno, add them to your fantasy squad instead.

Mike Sisselberger, Faceoff, Utah Archers

Out of the eight starting faceoff specialists in the PLL, Sisselberger currently ranks sixth in total fantasy points and has only averaged 12 fantasy points per game. 

Sisselberger will be facing off against Eastern Conference All-Stars Trevor Baptiste and Joe Nardella, who have two of the three highest faceoff percentages in the PLL. When Sisselberger faced off against Nardella last weekend, Sisselberger went 39% at the stripe. 

I believe that the other three faceoff specialists named at the All-Star Game will fare better than Sisselberger.
