LOS ANGELES (January 4, 2023) – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster has announced a partnership with Summit Lacrosse Ventures (SLV) to launch a new youth lacrosse tournament as part of the PLL’s opening weekend in Albany, NY: the PLL Opening Weekend Classic. 

The PLL Opening Weekend Classic is an 88-team tournament for boys grades first through eighth taking place on the fields adjacent to Casey Stadium at UAlbany where the PLL’s opening professional games of the 2023 season will take place. Designed to be an immersive experience for youth players, all registered teams will play two competitive games and receive tickets to the PLL games later that day. Participating teams have the opportunity to purchase tiered access to PLL opening weekend events like pre-game field walks, scoreboard shoutouts, and more.
