LOS ANGELES, CA. (April 8, 2022) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced today that the league will hold its training camp at the University at Albany in May ahead of Opening Weekend.

“We’re excited to bring all eight teams to UAlbany in May for training camp and Opening Weekend,” said Co-Founder and CEO Michael Rabil. “The Capital Region is a lacrosse hotbed. From double sessions to scrimmages to our first faceoff, the foundation of the 2022 season will be laid at UAlbany and we know people will show up!”

Each of the eight teams will bring its 30-man roster to campus for training camp – eventually cutting down to 25-man rosters for the season. On gameday, each team will dress 19 players.

Scrimmages will be held on May 31st. All four scrimmages will be open to Opening Weekend ticketholders. Stay tuned for more details.

Our fans now get twice the PLL action with training camp and opening weekend back-to-back to kick off the summer.”

Following training camp, UAlbany will host Opening Weekend at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium from June 4th to June 5th. Saturday night will feature a doubleheader with faceoff between Redwoods LC and Atlas LC scheduled for 6:15PM ET, followed by a rematch of the 2021 Championship between Chaos LC and Whipsnakes LC at 9:00PM ET under the lights.

Another doubleheader will take place on Sunday afternoon: Waterdogs LC and Cannons LC will play at 1:00PM ET and then Chrome LC and Archers LC will conclude the weekend at 3:45PM ET.

Weekend passes that include tickets to all four games are now available at www.premierlacrosseleague.com/schedule. Single-game tickets grant access to both games of the doubleheader.
