LOS ANGELES – Sept. 13, 2023 – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster today announced it will partner with STX to build and host the PLL Combine - High School Invitational for the top 50 high school lacrosse players (grades 10 and 11). Each player will be selected to have their lacrosse skills and athletic performance evaluated with instruction from current PLL pros and performance analysis by Spellman Performance. The inaugural event will be held January 26-28, 2024 at IMG Academy.

Lacrosse players across the country are bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled than ever, yet our game doesn’t have a standardized means of evaluating talent,” said Paul Rabil, co-founder and President of the PLL. “With our partners at STX, we have created the PLL Combine, where we will support these talented, young athletes on their journey to the next level.”

The 50 PLL Combine - High School Invitational attendees will receive hands-on instruction, elite competition, all new equipment courtesy of STX, performance training, data collection, and speed programming. At the conclusion of the PLL Combine, players will receive an individual profile of their performance from Spellman Performance, complete with GPS data to track field presence and explosiveness, video analysis, and a personalized speed program to improve performance following the event. Additionally, the players will receive off-field training related to personal brand building, academic development, and athlete wellness.
