Todd MacFarlane steps down as Redwoods LC assistant coach

By PLL | Dec 8, 2022

LOS ANGELES, CA. (December 8th, 2022) - Todd MacFarlane has stepped down as an assistant coach of the Redwoods Lacrosse Club.

“Todd has been a leader since the Redwoods’ inaugural season in 2019,” said Director of Lacrosse Product Rachael DeCecco. “We’re grateful for his passion since the league’s inception, and we’re wishing him and his family the best moving forward.”

MacFarlane released the following statement:

Unfortunately, I must step down as Assistant Coach of the Redwoods LC. Fortunately, this will allow me more time with family, friends, and to attend to my thriving consulting company.

I am very much humbled to have been surrounded by so many solid individuals on and off the field.

To Mike and Paul Rabil thank you for making the PLL a reality, creating a standard in professional sports and always looking to grow the game we all love.

To the rest of the PLL staff, thank you for your all in attitude, countless hours and always having a smile on your face.

To the Woods fans, you absolutely are the best. Roll Woods baby!

To the Woods, both on the field and off I will treasure every moment together. You are all remarkable young men that I know will be hoisting the 2023 PLL Championship Trophy at the end of the season! Take care of business!

Last but certainly not least to Coach St. Laurent, a friend and a brother the only thing I can say is you mean more to this sport than you know. Nothing but love brother.

Redwoods LC will begin its search for a replacement immediately.
