In 12 games last season, Tucker Durkin scooped 23 ground balls in addition to causing five turnovers. Durkin is a Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania native where he attended LaSalle College High School. While playing at Johns Hopkins University, Durkin was a 2x NCAA Defender of the Year and a 2x First Team All-American. In addition to being a member of the 2018 Team USA Gold Medal team, Durkin was Team USA's Most Outstanding Defender and was a member of the 2014 All-World team. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing and hiking. Durkin was named to the 2019 PLL All-Star Team and was nominated for the Dave Pietramala Defensive Player of the Year. Durkin has gone on record to say that he is a major advocate for buffalo sauce, claiming he puts it on "everything he eats". After missing the first two games of the 2020 Championship Series with COVID-19, Durkin returned to lead the way from the back for Atlas.
