2022 Players Top 50: #24 Rob Pannell
By Joe Keegan | Dec 8, 2022
Redwoods LC attackman Rob Pannell finished his 10th professional season ranked fourth all-time in career points (541).
Pannell (16G, 22A in ‘22) is fourth all-time in goals (290) and fifth all-time in assists (250).
The quarterback of the Redwoods offense is always dodging with his head up, dishing his patented lever passes.
“Professional lacrosse kind of makes you a goal scorer because teams are slow to slide. But I still love passing the ball and I wanted to be that quarterback back there. I just tell the guys – I keep telling them – keep moving, keep moving, I’ll find you if you’re open.”
Though he prefers passing, Pannell can run by defenders when teams try to turn him into a shoot-first player.
ROB PANNELL ARE YOU SERIOUS?! 🤯
