Johnny Surdick will be unavailable due to military commitments. Chaos needs a defender who can win on an island to play in their physical, 1-on-1 scheme. This defense was at its best when they stopped sliding and trusted individuals to dominate their matchups. 2019 Schmeisser Award winner Johnny Surdick was as good as it gets on-ball.

Canadian scoring depth
Andy Towers plans to dress four righties and four lefties per game. Anyone who fits their box-on-a-field scheme could crack the offense.

Iron sharpens iron. Max Adler benefited from a competitive training camp in 2021. Bringing in depth for live reps instead of mp4s of referee cadences will help prepare for Opening Weekend.
