Picks

#5 overall, #13 overall, #21 overall

#1 Need: Goalie

John Galloway is the only goalie on Chrome’s roster right now. Head coach Tim Soudan needs a backup who can learn behind Galloway.

Two-time MLL Goalie of the Year Sean Sconone -- a product of Soudan’s alma mater (UMass) -- could be their goalie of the future.

Secondary Needs: Dodging attackman

This offense prides itself on its ability to attack from all four quadrants: X, midfield, lefty wing, and righty wing.

Jordan Wolf and an inverted Ned Crotty are elite options at X. John Ranagan is a throwback, smashmouth midfielder. Justin Guterding and Jesse King give unique looks on the lefty wing.

The righty wing might be an area for improvement. Chrome only initiated 3.2 shots per game from the righty wing -- slightly below league average (3.9) but way below Chaos (8.1).

Is there someone who can play the two-man game with Jordan MacIntosh in this class? Randy Staats (a former Rattler) and Ryan Lee (RIT) make a ton of sense for multiple reasons. MacIntosh’s versatility as a dodger or picker gives Chrome options to find a complement for him.
