The Sunday game from the Nation’s Capital was an offensive explosion. Each member of Chrome and Chaos came out to play, and the goals were spread out amongst some of the PLL’s top stars. Although last weekend resulted in an OT Chaos win, the rematch today was stunningly different.

After Chaos’ Josh Byrne found the back of the net to start the game, Chrome came out roaring with a goal from Jordan MacIntosh and two from Jordan Wolf. After that, the duo never took their foot off the pedal with MacIntosh finishing the day with five goals and Wolf with four.

Chrome took a 4-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and would maintain that throughout the game, never giving up the advantage on the day. With revenge on their minds and not wanting to go 0-6, Chrome’s John Moderski, Ned Crotty, Justin Guterding and Drew Simoneau gave their team a comfortable 9-4 lead to start the second half.

Chaos tried to turn the tide going into the third, led by star attackman Connor Fields. His performance this week was highlighted by a sensational behind-the-back goal and another one-handed goal. Fields’ efforts combined with goals from Jake Froccaro and Kevin Buchanan had Chrome inching closer down five heading into the fourth.

Chrome, however, wasn’t going to let their OT loss to Chaos in Week 5 come back to haunt them. They would go on to score five goals in the fourth quarter and earn their first win of the season with a PLL record 19 goals.

Faceoff star Connor Farrell with his Thor-like hair couldn’t be happier as he signed autographs for his newly blossoming fanbase.
