Outlaws’ Logan Wisnauskas ruled out for Week 2 clash vs. Archers

Denver Outlaws attackman Logan Wisnauskas has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Utah Archers with a hamstring injury.
Denver activated rookie attackman Dalton Young from the protected roster to take Wisnauskas' spot on the 19-man gameday squad. Rookie long-stick midfielder Saam Olexo was moved to the protected roster.
Wisnauskas was one of the Outlaws’ offensive standouts in Week 1. He scored a hat trick and shot 42.9% — compared to 17.5% for the rest of the team — while also dishing out an assist in Denver's 16-11 loss to the Carolina Chaos last Sunday.
With Wisnauskas out, Denver will have to continue shuffling its offensive pieces. Highly touted rookie Brennan O’Neill started last game at midfield while occasionally rotating to play attack alongside Wisnauskas. The hole at attack could open a void for the No. 1 overall draft pick to fill in on the left side.
Young will also get a chance to make his professional debut. The undrafted rookie was a standout at Richmond and could be a useful piece this season.
Denver's other attackmen — Cross Ferrara, Jack Myers and Josh Zawada — will also have to step up in Wisnauskas’s absence. That trio combined for just one goal and two assists in the loss to Carolina.
Denver will look to secure its first win of the young season against the Archers on Friday in Charlotte. Game time is 8:30 p.m. ET.
