Premier Lacrosse League Announces Podcast Network

LOS ANGELES, CA. (January 9, 2020) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today the official launch of its podcast network, “PLL Podcasts."

The podcast network will launch this Saturday with the debut of “Unbuckled Chinstrap with Paul Rabil”. In this series, the PLL Co-Founder and Atlas LC midfielder will sit down for one-on-one conversations with the league’s most dominant and entertaining players. Examining topics such as their first stick, personal inspirations, pregame superstitions, training choices, and family life, Rabil and his guests will share intimate details on life as a professional athlete in their own words. The show debuts this Saturday with an episode featuring Redwoods midfielder, Kyle Harrison. Rabil hosts the hit podcast, “Suiting Up with Paul Rabil”, which has featured interviews with guests such as Bill Bellichick, Drew Brees, Tony Robbins, and Venus Williams, among many others.

“Launching our owned and operated podcast network under the league’s media umbrella is a strategic next step for us,’ says Rabil. “In addition to a sports league, we consider ourselves a major media company, having built and invested in a team of world-class producers, editors, designers and coordinators. I’m excited to host ‘Unbuckled Chinstrap’, and equally as enthused for the additional programs we’re launching in the coming months. This is just the beginning.”

In early February, the PLL will also launch “The Inside Feed”, a podcast hosted by the league’s social media coordinators, Lisa Redmond and Emma Adams. In this lighthearted and off-the-cuff podcast, Lisa and Emma will take listeners behind-the-scenes on trending news while examining absurd hypothetical scenarios and discussing their favorite moments from a season on the road. “The Inside Feed” aims to provide commentary and league storylines that can only be provided by those on the inside. Lisa additionally hosts the league’s ongoing weekly video series, “FastBreak” alongside host R.J. Kaminski.
