Premier Lacrosse League Announces Rosters, Coaches for Third International Exhibition in Japan

LOS ANGELES – Feb. 29, 2024 – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster today announced the men’s and women’s professional lacrosse players set to represent the PLL and Unleashed during the league’s third international exhibition in Japan on March 20, 2024, at Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki, Kanagawa, in partnership with SEKAI CROSSE.
“Our PLL and Unleashed All-Stars are heading to Japan to represent the best of professional lacrosse in North America,” said Paul Rabil, Co-founder and President of the Premier Lacrosse League. “Our games in Japan will showcase world-class play, in front of thousands of fans, with community programming throughout the trip. We’re grateful to our partners at SEKAI CROSSE for their shared commitment to the game’s growth internationally, as we prepare for the Olympic Games in 2028.”
The PLL and Unleashed teams will face teams of specially selected Japanese lacrosse players representing Cross Crosse All-Stars and compete in professional skills challenges, in addition to hosting youth lacrosse clinics in the region. Launched by the PLL in 2020, Unleashed is a media and event platform designed to support the growth and visibility of girls and women in the sport of lacrosse. The PLL recently held its first women’s professional exhibition in the US, the Unleashed All-Star Game powered by Ticketmaster at its 2024 Championship Series.
The PLL All-Stars will be coached by New York Atlas assistant coach, Steven Brooks, and Team Unleashed will be coached by former member of the US Women’s National Team and VP of Lacrosse for the PLL, Rachael DeCecco.

The international exhibition comes following the successful bid to return lacrosse to Olympic competition for the 2028 Games in Los Angeles lacrosse, and The Premier Lacrosse League’s second annual Championship Series powered by Ticketmaster, showcasing the Olympic-style format, with games broadcast across ESPN platforms.
