LOS ANGELES, CA. (FEBRUARY 25, 2020) - The Premier Lacrosse League has announced a partnership with Crabs Lacrosse Club (LC) to support the league’s weekend of games in Baltimore on June 20th and 21st at Homewood Field. Crabs LC will be operating their annual ‘Crab Feast’ event – a nationally recognized leader on the summer recruitment calendar gathering teams from across North America – in conjunction with the PLL Weekend. The PLL and Crabs LC had a similar collaboration last year, which resulted in the league’s first ever sellout crowd.
“Partnering with the Crab Feast tournament was a key component of hosting our first ever sellout crowd – a historic moment in our inaugural season,” says PLL Co-Founder and CSO Paul Rabil. “We’re excited to continue our partnership for another thrilling game weekend in Baltimore, and together improve both the fan experience and atmosphere at Homewood Field. Everyone in the Mid-Atlantic, and even those out-out-towners looking for a reason to visit historic Homewood Field for a weekend this summer, should mark their calendars now.”
“We’re eager to work alongside the PLL again in 2020,” says Crabs LC Founder Ryan McClernan. “Our partnership provides a meaningful opportunity to collaborate with the PLL, and it adds value to our attendees’ experience. We look forward to hosting a competitive club event with talent from across the country, and in the same day, have them witness what the pinnacle our sport looks like."
