In a matchup of two of the most talented teams in the PLL, Chaos vs. Whipsnakes Saturday afternoon did not disappoint. Whipsnakes attackman Jules Heningburg immediately set the tone for his team with a rapid goal within 10 seconds of the game.
It only took Archers LC face-off athlete Stephen Kelly 11 seconds to find the back of the net, but it took us more than 48 minutes to find a winner in the first-ever Premier Lacrosse League game. Archers LC attackman Will Manny (4G) buried the game-winning goal in overtime to defeat the Chrome LC, 13-12.
We knew Atlas vs. Redwoods wasn’t going to be just like any other lacrosse game. With both rosters stacked with several of the game’s elite, a national stage only seemed fitting.
