Whipsnakes LC’s 25-Man Roster: Decisions Still to be Made

The Whipsnakes LC released three offensive players — Luke Frankeny, Max Waldbaum, Sean Goldsmith — to the player pool yesterday to narrow down their roster to 25.
But with four players on the PUP list (Elijah Gash, Colin Hinton, Wheaton Jackoboice, Joe Nardella) and Zed Williams on the Unavailable to Travel list, Coach Stagnitta will still have to make roster decisions soon.
Bailey Savio and Samuel Cambere figure to be likely cut candidates after being left off the Week 1 game day roster once Nardella and one of Gash or Hinton return.
Additionally, three goalies remain on the roster, with Brian Phipps getting the backup nod over Brendan Krebs for the first game, but I find it unlikely the Whipsnakes keep all three as the season progresses.
Other names to look at as possible cut candidates include Jackoboice, rookie SSDM Grayson Sallade, Jackson Reid, and Sean Lulley. While all of these players are safe for the time being, expect movement to happen soon as pieces are figured out.
Whipsnakes LC starts its journey to a third title versus Chrome LC on Sunday, June 4 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
