LOS ANGELES, CA. (April 1, 2020) - The Premier Lacrosse League powered by Ticketmaster (PLL) announced today the creation of an eighth lacrosse club set to begin play during the 2020 season. This announcement marks the second expansion club scheduled to begin play for the upcoming season following Waterdogs LC. 

"We are delighted to welcome Beans LC into the PLL as the newest club ahead of the 2020 season," says PLL Co-Founder and CMO Paul Rabil. "The addition of an eighth club ahead of the new season will give an additional level of competition to the league and provide more opportunities for fans to witness the best players in the world. "We selected Beans LC as the new team name after assembling focus groups that consisted of our PLL players, majors sports league leaders, social media experts, and manufacturers of beans all around the world. We couldn't be happier to launch this new club."

Beans LC will be composed of players from the PLL's existing player pool in addition to unprotected players on current rosters. All eight lacrosse clubs will also be eligible to draft players in the 2020 College Draft this month.
