Atlas-Chaos Trade: Cloutier to Chaos
Chaos LC has acquired attackman Chris Cloutier from Atlas LC in exchange for its third round pick in the 2022 College Draft.
The deal was completed on Friday prior to the trade window closing.
Atlas receives: 2022 third round College Draft pick
Atlas LC head coach Ben Rubeor has been busy this offseason. After making six selections in the 2021 College Draft, he now holds seven draft picks in the 2022 College Draft:
- Atlas LC’s 1st round pick
- Cannons LC’s 1st round pick
- Atlas LC’s 2nd round pick
- Redwoods LC’s 2nd round pick
- Atlas LC’s 3rd round pick
- Chaos LC’s 3rd round pick
- Atlas LC’s 4th round pick
Chaos receives: Chris CloutierÂ
Cloutier joins Josh Byrne, Austin Staats, Ian MacKay, Kyle Jackson, Mac O’Keefe, and Tanner Cook on the lefty side of Chaos’ offense. There are countless Canadian and Iroquois two- and three-man game combinations in that group.
Cloutier fits in as a picker mirroring the ball carrier’s body language or as the third man reading the picker. He’s lethal off-ball – a career 47.3% assisted shooter who’s always hitching. How do you close out to this?

Cloutier can create his own shot as well, though usually after catching with time-and-room then attacking a closeout. He rarely starts the offensive sets, but he’s never afraid to finish them. He has buried 36.2% of his unassisted shots in his pro career, bruising on-ball defenders along the way.

Chaos LC head coach Andy Towers was active on the final day of the trade window. After moving Curtis Dickson and Challen Rogers to the Unable to Travel list, Towers traded for Cloutier, traded for Wes Berg, and claimed Austin Kaut via waivers.
