LOS ANGELES, CA. (September 18, 2019) - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today an attendance total of 10,572 from the second round of postseason play that occurred on Saturday, September 14 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey - the highest ever single day total. Additionally, the NBCSN matchup between Redwoods LC and Chaos LC averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 100,000, ranking as the second most-watched PLL weekend afternoon this year (behind 8/17 Chaos-Archers; 105,000).

Saturday’s action featured two different do-or-die matchups to determine the final participants for the games next weekend as part of the PLL Championship in Philadelphia. The first game on Saturday pitted the red-hot Redwoods LC against Chaos LC at 5PM ET on NBCSN to determine which team will meet Whipsnakes LC for a shot at the title. Despite the score being an even 6-6 heading into the break, Redwoods LC completely dominated all aspects of the second half and came away with a convincing 12-7 victory. The night game was an 8PM ET matchup between Chrome LC and Archers LC with both teams looking to win and face Atlas LC in the First Overall Draft Pick Game. A four-goal performance from Archers’ attackman Will Manny proved to be the difference as they punched a ticket to Philadelphia with a hard-fought 12-10 victory. Action from Saturday night continued to be a major talking point around the social landscape as content generated 8.1 million impressions and nearly 1 million video views on PLL channels.

The PLL season culminates this Saturday (Sep. 21) with a day to remember at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, PA. Action will begin at 11:30 AM ET on NBC Sports Gold with Archers LC taking on Atlas LC. The winner of this game will officially be awarded the #1 overall pick in the 2020 PLL Draft next year. The main event will be a 2:30 PM ET faceoff on NBC between the league’s two top teams: Whipsnakes LC and Redwoods LC. Both teams look for a shot at history as they compete for the inaugural PLL Championship.
