Premier Lacrosse League Named Best Place to Work in Sports by Sports Business Journal

LOS ANGELES – March 4, 2024 – The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Sports – ranked first in the Leagues and Governing Bodies category – by Sports Business Journal.

SBJ surveyed more than 12,000 employees from nearly 200 sports organizations on employee engagement and satisfaction at work, including team dynamics, trust in leadership, communication, resources, manager effectiveness, individual needs, engagement outcomes, career growth and development, future outlook, and diversity and inclusion. The PLL scored highest in the “Team Dynamics” category, which evaluates employees' responses to questions like, “The people I work with treat each other with respect.”
The PLL’s Best Places to Work in Sports recognition comes following a record year for the league in its fifth season – the most watched in league history. The PLL also recently held its second annual Championship Series powered by Ticketmaster, showcasing the Olympic-style format set to return lacrosse to Olympic competition at the Los Angeles 2028 games. On March 20, the PLL will also hold its third annual international exhibition in Japan with SEKAI CROSSE.
