LOS ANGELES, CA. (July 10, 2019) -  The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today an attendance total of 14,209 over three total games this weekend (July 6 and 7) at Audi Field in Washington D.C.

PLL games took place in front of a packed Audi Field this weekend and fans were treated to three enthralling games. Saturday’s early game went down to the wire and was won in overtime by a goal from new Redwoods LC star Jules Heningburg, dealing Archers LC their fourth consecutive defeat. Despite on and off thunderstorm delays throughout the night game, Whipsnakes LC took down Atlas LC with a late surge in the fourth quarter led by standout performer Ryan Drenner. Saturday’s games saw PLL partner with Shootout for Soldiers for an official Military Appreciation Night and included pregame locker room speeches from decorated U.S. Army veterans Major Erik Mineo, Colonel Michael Sullivan and Captain Ben Harrow. The lone Sunday matchup saw a Jordan MacIntosh-led Chrome LC get their first win of the season with dominant victory over Chaos LC. Sunday’s matchups were part of PLL’s official Pride Day, which honored the LGBTQ community with activations both before and during the game in conjunction with You Can Play.

Over the weekend, PLL channels performed 1.5 million views on Instagram and Twitter. Social activity was also bolstered by conversation surrounding the All Star Game which generated over 5.2 million social impressions after the roster was released on Saturday morning.
