In 2021, Jules Heningburg made the move from attack to midfield for the Redwoods. Since then, we’ve continued to see his game evolve as he becomes more and more versatile.
With the Woods’ midfield more stacked than ever with the breakout season of Charlie Bertrand and addition of rookie Nakeie Montgomery, Heningburg showcased his skillfulness.
In the season opener, Heningburg led the Redwoods in scoring with 5 goals versus the Atlas. He looked as if he hadn’t missed a beat all offseason.
Heningburg is the type of player who demands the proper respect every time he steps on the field. Not only does he have an arsenal of tricks as a shooter off the dodge, he's equally as dangerous as a feeder running out of the box.
With his skill, speed, vision, and work-ethic, Heningburg has become one of the top midfielders in the game.
